Good Moms do have scary thoughts

Get support - let's sort this out together

Therapy for postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety

Therapy for postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety

Almost all new parents get the “baby blues.” But sometimes, the baby blues don’t go away.

If you’ve spent several weeks…

  • feeling  overwhelmed about parenthood
  • having  difficulty bonding with your baby
  • crying  a lot more than usual
  • having  constant thoughts about something bad happening to you or your baby

…then you may have a postpartum mood disorder.

You’re not alone; although stigma keeps us from talking about it, 1 in 5 mothers experience postpartum depression.

The good news is that postpartum depression is a highly treatable condition.

I use evidence-based practices like cognitive-behavioral therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT- said like the word, not just letters)  to help you address these symptoms and cope with these feelings. Parenthood is hard. Together, we can stop postpartum depression from making it even harder.
