If you've found yourself thinking, "I don't feel like myself anymore," you're not alone.
Many women are surprised by how dramatically perimenopause can affect their emotional well-being. One day you're managing life as you always have, and the next you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, or lying awake at 3 a.m. wondering what happened.
You may have been told it's "just stress," "just getting older," or that your lab work looks normal. But that doesn't change the fact that something feels different.
Perimenopause is a time of significant hormonal change, and for many women it can also bring increased anxiety, disrupted sleep, mood changes, brain fog, irritability, and a sense of feeling disconnected from yourself. At the same time, many women are balancing demanding careers, relationships, aging parents, teenagers leaving home, or major life transitions. It's no wonder this stage of life can feel overwhelming. Hormonal changes can contribute to mood, sleep, and cognitive symptoms, while life circumstances often add another layer of stress.
You don't have to navigate it alone.
Therapy provides a space to make sense of what's changing, develop practical coping strategies, and reconnect with yourself during a season that can feel unfamiliar.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapies that help women better understand anxiety, improve sleep, strengthen resilience, and move through this transition with greater confidence.
Because sleep is often one of the first things to change during perimenopause, I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) when appropriate. Improving sleep can have a meaningful impact on emotional well-being, energy, and overall quality of life.
I also believe the best care is collaborative. When helpful, I'm happy to coordinate with your OB-GYN, primary care provider, psychiatrist, menopause specialist, or other members of your healthcare team.
Therapy doesn't replace medical care. It complements it by helping you navigate the emotional, behavioral, and psychological changes that often accompany this stage of life.
Perimenopause isn't simply something to "get through." It can become an opportunity to better understand yourself, redefine what matters most, and move into the next chapter of life with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
You deserve support that recognizes the whole picture, not just your symptoms.
