You love your career. You love your children.
Some days, it feels like you're failing both.
From the outside, it looks like you're managing everything. You show up for work, remember the school events, answer emails after bedtime, keep the household running, and somehow make it all happen. But inside, you're exhausted from carrying the invisible mental load.
Your mind rarely gets a break. You're constantly planning, solving problems, remembering everyone else's needs, and wondering if you're doing enough. By the time the house is finally quiet, you're too mentally wired to relax. You find yourself doom scrolling, emotionally eating, picking at your nails, replaying conversations, or lying awake thinking about everything that still needs to be done tomorrow.
You may even wonder, "Is this just what motherhood feels like?"
Motherhood changes us in ways no one fully prepares us for. It can shift our identity, challenge our relationships, affect our confidence, and leave us feeling disconnected from the person we used to be. Add a demanding career, aging parents, household responsibilities, and the pressure to keep everything running, and it's no surprise that anxiety, burnout, and overwhelm begin to take hold.
Therapy offers a space that's just for you.
Together, we'll slow down the constant mental noise, explore the patterns contributing to your stress, and develop practical, evidence-based strategies that fit your real life. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique goals. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and other research-supported approaches to help you create lasting change.
My goal isn't to help you become a "perfect" working mom. It's to help you feel calmer, more present, better rested, and more connected to yourself so you can enjoy both your career and your family without constantly feeling like you're running on empty.
You spend so much of your life caring for everyone else.
Therapy is one place where someone gets to care for you.
